Flexible Spending Accounts

A flexible spending account (FSA) allows you to set aside money on a pre-tax basis for expenses not covered under a traditional medical, dental, or vision plan.

Common expenses include copays, deductibles, orthodontics, hearing aids, laser eye surgery, eye glasses, infertility treatment, medical equipment and over-the-counter drugs.

Brooks offers 2 types of FSAs for you to choose from:

Health Care FSA

Available to employees who do not enroll in an HSA.

This plan allows for an annual contribution amount of $120-$2,500.

Dependent Care

Available to employees for dependent care expenses - applicable for children up to the age of 13, as well as for qualified elder-care.

The annual contribution limit is up to $5,000, depending on your tax filing status.

You can access your Flexible Spending Account directly through https://benefits.plansource.com or by downloading the mobile app, Spending Account Service Center. Through the mobile app you can view activity, track expenses, make payments, and file claims.
